How to handle DC-side Startup Power Insufficient issue for HSNV series inverter


Purpose:

When hopeCloud reports “DC-side startup power insufficient” alarm, this document can help to guide you on how to handle it.

1Fault cause

1.1 Insufficient illumination.

1.2 Lack of output on DC side.

2. Troubleshooting Methods

Step 1

Log into hopeCloud APP, select the corresponding inverter and navigate Parameter Settings>System control> Reset command> 1-Reset. Then check whether the alarm persists. If the fault is resolved after reset, the troubleshooting process is complete.

Step 2

If the issue persists, check whether the PV module is receiving sufficient illumination. If not, consider adjusting the installation position or increasing the illumination.

Step 3

If the issue persists, check the DC-side cable to ensure it is securely and reliably connected. If the cable connection is fine, but the issue persists, please contact Hopewind after-sales service for further assistance.
