How to use weather station on hopeCloud platform

1. Preparation：

Customers can monitor whether data on the hopeCloud platform when using a compatible weather station in combination with a Hopewind datalogger. 
The followings are required:
1. Hopewind datalogger: hopeComBox1000 or hopePowerBox
2. Compatible Wether Station

Currently supported Weather Station(s):


2. Hardware installation:
2.1 Install all the sensors of Weather Station according to the diagram of Figure2 below.
2.2 Connect the Weather Station to Hopewind datalogger by connecting the RS485 cable between 3S-IS-5, RS485 port to the X5 port inside Hopewind datalogger cabinet. (Figure3)

3. hopeCloud platform configuration：

3.1  Login to hopeCloud & create a new plant. (Refer to the guide "hopeCloud: How to create a plant")
3.2  Add Hopewind datalogger into the plant. (Refer to the guide "hopeCloud: How to add a datalogger to a plant")


3.3 Update the datalogger to the latest firmware version, which should be above V102.015.000.


3.4 If the firmware upgrade has been successful, the Weather Station should be added into the plant automatically. You could review the sensor data on the page below.
